SYNOPIS

In order to connect the plateau with the valleys below, 15 tunnels have been dug into the mountain beneath the Contemporary Art Center of Lacoux at the beginning of the 20th century. Confronted with numerous technical difficulties, the project was eventually abandoned. This labyrinth in a straight line, hidden in the heart of the mountain, is still present to this day. The old dream keeps palpitating through the landscape. The resurgences, abysses and cliffs scattered throughout the territory form with these tunnels an implicit and secret topography.
